A nice central apartment for trips around Gloucester and Gloucestershire. The location was spoilt a little by the numerous beggars outside and in the vicinity of tha apartment. A few niggling faults in the apartment but as I think we were probably the first to stay there and sure that these will be rectified. Main fault being the position of the cooker hood which my y wife and myself hit our heads on more than once. Regards Allan Palmer
Gloucester
I love this place. It is literally my favourite place to stay in the UK. I travel to Gloucestershire regularly for business and have stayed in many hotels in the area. This one is the best by far. The staff are wonderful, the spa is amazing, the rooms are very comfortable, the food in the restaurant is incredible and they even have electric car charging! It's honestly the perfect hotel for me!
The Amberley Inn is in a beautiful location just off Minchinhampton common. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast with pastries, fruit pots, local yoghurts, and freshly cooked English breakfast with Gloucestershire black spot sausage and bacon, mushroom, fried bread and poached egg. I enjoyed evening meal there too with the seafood gumbo.
The grounds are magnificet and very well maintained Good buffet breakfast, good dinner, bar. Rooms could do with a bit of work, partly because the hotel is so vast and the upkeep must be an enormous task, but the facilities are basically very nice. Welcoming for dogs. In a lovely part of South Gloucestershire.
The hotel/pub was way out in the country, unspoiled by urban hustle and bustle, with views of fields and the like. We stayed there on our way from a stay in Gloucestershire, to avoid the heavy traffic on our way home, and weren’t dissapointed. Lovely place, lovely staff, and lovely meals
It's always nice to stay at the bear from stunning views to great breakfasts and hot showers to comfy beds when in Gloucestershire the bear is always our goto hotel and we are never disappointed

Location location location! Exceptional venue, amazing staff!
wonderful staff, full cook to order breakfast included, full service bar, lunch and dinner with lovely outside dining
Breakfast selection is full of varieties. The staff is warm and helpful. Prices are reasonable for dinner but the room price is a bit steep. After all, it is a once-a-while splash. It is worth it.
Service oriented staff, polite and helpful. Very efficient and willing to answer our questions and advise. The pub/restaurant gave outstanding service, the food and drinks are delicious.
